Kamzík Restaurant in Ždiar
A place to taste Ždiar. Our welcoming restaurant brings together traditional flavours, home-style cooking and Goral atmosphere. It is part of Wellness Resort Kamzík*** and is open to non-resident guests too.

Goral tradition and honest cooking
Our menu brings together the flavours of Ždiar, Slovak classics and well-loved local and international dishes. Try bryndzové halušky and pirohy with sheep's cheese, kapustnica sauerkraut soup or traditional moskole potato flatbreads, as well as our Ždiarska vidla mixed meat dish, game goulash, roast pork knuckle, a gyros platter, trout or pike-perch.

Breakfast and dinner buffets
Start the day with a generous breakfast buffet, included in your stay. Guests who choose half board can also enjoy a varied dinner buffet.

Breakfast is served daily from 08:00 to 09:15, and dinner from 18:00 to 19:30. If you would like dinner included, simply add half board when booking at the current rate.
An interior with Goral character
The restaurant was redesigned in 2021, drawing on the traditions and atmosphere of Ždiar. Hand-carved wooden ceilings and columns, glass painted with folk motifs and photographs from family albums give the space its distinctive, authentic character.
A chamois takes pride of place above the bar – the animal that gave our resort its name and has been part of its story for years.
