Since 1997, we have been creating a place in Ždiar where guests feel more than just visitors. Many return time and again for the chance to unwind, the atmosphere and the personal welcome that still matters just as much to us.
Kamzík's story began when Alžbeta and Štefan Bekeš opened their family guesthouse. Today, Marianna and Štefan Bekeš carry on that tradition. Over the years, Villa Kamzík and Kamzík Apartments joined the original guesthouse to form today's Wellness Resort Kamzík*** – still in the same place, with the same family atmosphere.

- 2019Refurbished guesthouse roomsWe renovated the rooms and bathrooms for greater comfort while preserving their Goral character.
- 2021A restaurant in the Goral styleWoodcarvings and folk motifs brought the distinctive atmosphere and traditions of Ždiar into the restaurant.
- 2022Our spa opensA new place to unwind, with a whirlpool pool, Finnish sauna, steam room and cold plunge pool.
- Planned for2027A new pool and relaxation areaWe will expand the spa with a new pool and relaxation area featuring a salt cave.
Spa access included in your stay
There is no need to leave the resort to unwind. Our spa has a whirlpool pool with water at a pleasant 32–35 °C, a Finnish sauna, a steam room and a cold plunge pool. Spa access is included for all overnight guests.
A taste of Ždiar in our restaurant
Good food is part of a stay at Resort Kamzík***. Start the day with a generous breakfast; if you choose half board, a buffet dinner awaits in the evening. During the day, our restaurant also welcomes visitors who are not staying with us, serving home-style cooking, Slovak favourites and traditional regional dishes.
Enjoy your meal in the cosy dining room, in the conservatory overlooking the Belianske Tatras or, on warmer days, on the summer terrace.
